Chris Barnard's world is pretty typical for a 24-year-old single guy with a college diploma, a job and no landline.
He earned a sociology degree two years ago and moved back in with his parents, working as a temp as he tried to figure out his next step in life.
One of those temp jobs became permanent, and Barnard now works in Washington, D.C., in the membership department of a trade association.

Sure, lead gen is great, but then what?
The click is it - the thing that's everything. Or it has been. For almost a decade, performance marketers have placed so much importance on initial click-through rates that they've forgotten nearly everything else. That's not such a big surprise: After all, while marketers have countless other metrics at their disposal, the click is the most basic unit of reaction one can measure. But the click is really just the beginning.
We all know that mobile advertising is the current buzz topic around the water cooler, but what is it really - and how can it improve lead generation efforts? These are the questions I would be asking if I were an advertiser. How can I widen the pool of quality leads for my products and services? How can I get beyond the traditional co-registration networks? I've heard it time and time again; advertisers want quality versus quantity. If that is really the driving need, then advertisers should look no further than mobile advertising.
