We’re Hiring: Google Pay Per Click Search Engine Marketing Specialist

Effective Student Marketing is currently looking for a full-time, creative, self-motivated Google Pay Per Click Advertising and Search Engine Marketing Specialist to generate more online traffic for our clients. We are looking for individuals who have solid search marketing experience including knowledge of web analytics, conversion rates , ROI and media buying. Also, candidates should have an insatiable curiosity for the marketing process, love new technologies, possess a can-do approach to problem solving, and have a strong sense of urgency. This is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with different clients in an agency setting. This person will be responsible for designing, planning and implementing online lead generation strategies, using Google Adwords, internet and social media tools. This is a full-time in office position located in Andover Massachusetts.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
2-3 years experience in direct marketing with strong focus on paid and natural search marketing
BS/BA business/marketing

- Experience with Google Adwords (Google Certified Preferred), Google analytics with proven results, and experience with other ad sites for PPC
- Media Buying
- Experience conducting research, selecting and implementing Keywords to attract customers, writing ad copy, managing budgets and meeting PPC goals
- Experience with A/B testing and landing page optimization a plus
- Experience with Social Media, Facebook, Linkedin YouTube, Twitter etc.
- Ability to technically troubleshoot
- Excellent written and oral communication, time management, problem solving skills
- Ability work efficiently in a team environment, articulate and contribute verbally
- Ability to manage an editorial calendar
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, multi-task and juggle priorities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to drive new business initiatives to increase online community usage, spot trends and track performance
- Possess proofreading skills and strong attention to detail
- Interact on blogs, discussion groups, newsletters and web sites
- HTML a plus
- Utilize advanced Excel / pivot tables
- Research, write copy and develop creative content
- Run online analytics and metrics
- Knowledge and experience with SEO a plus
- Possess a passion for the trade and positive attitude with a good sense of humor
