Of course, there is a common misconception that it is just a site for pushing breaking news about what’s happening on your campus, but it’s actually a community where relationships can be formed between students, alumni, faculty, and staff. While some schools on Twitter do “get it,” the vast majority of colleges and universities are still struggling with Twitter conversation etiquette and getting past the news pushing component of participating in the “Twitterverse.”
